Albo d'oro F1: 1967

L'"Orso" Denny Hulme si aggiudicò il titolo nella stagione 1967, beffando il Campione in carica e suo compagno di squadra Jack Brabham, che per tutta risposta lo lasciò a piedi l'anno successivo. A premiare il neozelandese Hulme fu la sua maggiore costanza, con 6 podi e 2 vittorie a Monaco e in Germania (sul lunghissimo tracciato del Nurburgring dove, ribellandosi agli ordini del team, primeggiò davanti allo stesso Brabham).
La maggiore fragilità della Lotus impedì una lotta alla pari per Jim Clark, capace comunque di approfittare del rapporto conflittuale dei suoi rivali per arrivare a due passi dal titolo e guadagnarsi il 'titolo' di pilota da battere per l'anno venturo.
Il 1967 fu anche l'anno della prima affermazione del team Honda in F1 (grazie al Campione del 1964 John Surtees) nel Gran Premio d'Italia.
