Albo d'oro F1: 1963

Jim Clark-Lotus: il binomio che dominò la F1 di metà anni '60 maturò finalmente nel 1963, dove l'asso scozzese e il team di Colin Chapman conquistarono il loro primo Campionato del Mondo con 7 affermazioni sui 10 Gran Premi previsti. Graham Hill (Monaco e Stati Uniti) e John Surtees (Germania) completarono la lista dei vincitori di singole gare, ma nulla poterono contro lo strapotere della Lotus 25.
Nacque così il mito di una scuderia destinata a cambiare il Circus con le sue innovazioni tecniche (poi copiate da tutti) e la leggenda di una vettura disegnata come un vestito intorno al suo pilota, che in tre stagioni conquisterà ben 25 vittorie, 13 giri veloci e 17 pole position.
